Might be, but it would need to be professionally done. Many times we have been called to take care of wallpaper removal in homes where homeowners started the project as a DIY job only to stop after the realized the damaged caused on the drywall after few sf of wallpaper was removed.

• Remove wallpaper & Clean all Glue:
Prisma Contractors LLC carefully removes wallpaper, proceeding then to remove glue and clean walls thoroughly. In case wallpaper was not installed on a primed wall them chances are wallpaper won’t come out clean and continuing to remove wallpaper that wasn’t installed on a proper primed wall will completely damage the drywall; in this case to avoid the extra cost of having to replace the whole room drywall we proceed to NOT continue removing it and proceed to skim coat wallpaper seems to disappear seem lines.
• Point up surfaces from where wallpaper was removed;
We never know what will be found below the wallpaper, so after removing it we proceed to fix any cracks and holes to smooth out surface. And sand it.
• Prime walls:
Primer is applied to walls.
• Point up surfaces from where wallpaper was removed;
After Primer is applied, we inspect to see if any spots needs to be pointed up and if needed we proceed to point them up and sand.
• Prime pointed up spots.
Primer is applied to pointed up spots.
• Caulking application to all trims, baseboards & crown mouldings gaps as needed.
• Paint walls, trims, baseboards, crown mouldings & doors of above mentioned areas.
